This two day program is geared for first responders who may be faced with an Arborist emergency. It has been designed with professional arborists and will cover size-up, developing an IAP and making a go/no-go decision to begin rescue. Students will learn the skills necessary to perform a bottom up rescue and will then be faced with complex rescue scenarios.
Students should come with a strong set of personal on-rope skills to include self rescue techniques as well as the ability to ascend and descend a fixed vertical line
PPE Required: Helmet, Rope gloves, ANSI rated eye protection, boots that come above ankles. Class 2 or 3 harness.
