The U.S. Fire Administration’s National Fire Academy (NFA) is hosting a National Training Weekend Program (NTWP) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, MD, on August 13-14, 2022. Participation in the NTWP is open to students nationwide from career or volunteer departments and state/local governments.
NFA will host the weekend and provide instruction and course materials. Lodging at NETC is provided at no cost the nights of August 12 and 13. Students must pay for meals and transportation; there is no stipend reimbursement for travel coming to and from this training.
Courses scheduled for delivery during the NTWP:
W0455 – Strategy and Tactics for Initial Company Operations (fema.gov)
W0457 – Decision-Making for Initial Company Operations (fema.gov)
W0647 – Leadership in Supervision: Perspectives in Thinking (fema.gov)
W0729 – Incident Safety Officer (fema.gov)
W0770 – Fire Investigation: First Responders (fema.gov)
