Overview

The Cy-Fair Fire Department’s Kids Fire & Safety Camp provides campers with unforgettable experiences. Instructed by real firefighters, kids get hands-on experience in the day-to-day skills required to be a firefighter while gaining a sense of individual responsibility and team work. Campers learn CPR, first aid, and everything about firefighting in this hands-on, interactive camp.

The camp will run for five half days and end with a graduation ceremony on Friday. The camp will be conducted at Cy-Fair Fire Station 13, 10222 Westgreen Blvd., Cypress, TX 77433. It’s open to boys and girls who have finished the second, third or fourth grade. All campers must be Cy-Fair residents.

Goals

The goals of the fire camp program are to teach students the importance of teamwork and physical fitness, as well as to build self confidence and initiative to develop solutions to complex problems. These goals are accomplished in an exciting, highly disciplined, and controlled environment. The students engage in fire and EMS related activities and scenarios utilizing the same discipline, training, skills, and equipment used by firefighters today.

How to Register for Random Drawing

Though we wish we could have everyone attend, we simply don't have the space. This registration form is part of a random selection process to choose up to 20 campers from the Cy-Fair Fire district for the CFFD's Kid's Fire and Safety Camp. All registrants will be notified of their selection status by June 17th, whether selected or not. Please note, submitting this form DOES NOT guarantee a spot in the camp.
