The National Fire Academy (NFA) is seeking qualified applicants to participate in a 6-week, online - instructor led course Training for Unusual Incidents and Catastrophic Events, August 20 – October 2, 2023
Course Description: The course will examine the theories and practical application of pre-disaster management and planning based upon the integration of critical infrastructure analysis and continuity of operation planning to ensure organizations are prepared to respond to the rare, extraordinary incidents that may occur at the local level.
Student Selection Criteria: Participants should be members of a fire department, emergency medical service, emergency management, law enforcement agency, school district, government (State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT)), religious, and non-government organizations with disaster or community support roles.
