Hello all,
It's been a while since my last Blog, and I want to catch you up on what has been going on here, first I had hand surgery for Dupren Colurse (spelling wrong), but has to do with fingers that start to bend over and don't come back up. Google it. I was wearing a hand splint for a while to keep the fingers up and therapy was next. Then the big winter storm on Christmas day that we had and the driving band that went along with it, for several days. Just to let you know we came out of all of it on the good side. Now, how has the driving been doing are we still looking before going into the intersections, to watch for the unknown that usually is there but we are looking straight ahead (zoned in)? We need to tune that up a bit. Also, there have been several close calls I have been reading about as the ON-Duty death of a Scottish Firefighter. I have been by that area we the big fire was several times on our many trips to Edinburgh. The other day there was a Mayday at a fire in New York City that took several FDNY Firefighters to the hospital. Good thing for the training they do on trapped firefighters, cause it paid off. That is why I always say train and then train again, but train on the unexpected that's going to happen, cause you never know what is going on inside of the structure be it small or big. Well, this is all for now till I can get some more reading done and stories to watch. Take care be safe and watch out for the other person cause they sure are not out watching out for you.
I am going to end this blog in a moment of silence for all who have passed away, be it on duty or off.........
