Please join us in congratulating Hannah Pridgeon on her promotion to Park Service Specialist at T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula and Constitution Convention Museum State Parks!
After working in the medical field during COVID, she was itching for a major career change geared towards nature conservation. In 2021 Hannah began her park service career serving as a Park Ranger at T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Hannah is a native Floridian from Rockledge, Florida but was raised here in Port Saint Joe. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean, while exploring other Florida State Parks. She also enjoys walking her dogs Sadie and Pretty, trekking through the woods, or having a craft night with her friends. Hannah is passionate about Florida State Parks and says her favorite part of the job is "pointing out interesting things to our visitors that are right under their feet. Also, interpreting the many ways to help protect the park's natural resources including our sand dunes, beach mice, shorebirds, and sea turtles." She is excited to step into this new role and continue the great work done before her working with the park's sea turtle program and natural resources. Congratulations Hannah!
