On Thursday, June 24, Catherine Andrews, the daughter of State Police Captain Lori Andrews, graduated from the 23rd Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy Associates Youth Leadership Program in Quantico, VA. Catherine is 16 years old and will be a junior at Seneca High School this fall.
The FBI National Academy Associate (FBINAA) Annual Youth Leadership Program is an intensive eight days of instruction designed to challenge the students and support their drive for knowledge. It is an opportunity for participants to flourish and enhance their desire to make a difference as young leaders in the world.
The coursework and classroom instruction focus on issues faced by the youth today and provides tools that enhance their individual core talents. To date, more than 1,100 students have graduated from the FBI National Academy Youth Leadership since it began in 1998. Students must be between 14 and 16 years old at the start of the program and demonstrate high academic excellence. The accomplishment was particularly special for the Andrews' family because Captain Andrews graduated from the FBI National Academy as a member of Session 262.
Congratulations Catherine Andrews!
