°1 tsp vegetable oil
°2 pounds sirloin, thinly sliced
°2 green peppers, sliced
°1 white onion, sliced
°1 teaspoon minced garlic
°1 teaspoon salt
°1 teaspoon pepper
°1/2 cup beef broth
°12 slices of provolone cheese
°1 loaf of French bread, cut in halves
Instructions:
Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Heat vegetable oil in skillet on to heat. Then add the fillets, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Cooking on medium-high heat to meat is charred on both sides also almost done.
Add green pepper, onion, and beef broth to skillet and sauté, uncovered, for 4 to 5 minutes, until tenderloin is cooked through.
Then put the halves of the loaf of bread on a baking tray. Use the spoon to pry some bread out of the middle of the bread.
Put the bread in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Then pour half of the steak and pepper mixture into each plate after this cooking time.
Then add the shredded provolone cheese on top of the meat mixture. Overlap a little with each slice.
Return to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
We take it out of the oven and let it cool. Then use a large knife to slice each loaf for easy serving.
Enjoy !
