We regret to pass on that a Florence County EMS Paramedic was killed in the Line of Duty and a Florence Police Officer and Trooper were also injured after being hit by a car last night while working the scene of a motorcycle crash in Florence. Another yet unidentified person was also killed.
The original crash happened when two motorcycles crashed near a car wash and used car lot. One of the motorcyclists crashed into several used cars and the injuries were severe.
The driver who crashed into the scene is in the hospital and was an elderly woman but is not sure of her exact age. Her condition isn’t being released. The trooper is recovering from a head injury but no word yet on the Police Officer.
