A teen motorcyclist was killed and his passenger critically injured Saturday evening after colliding with a City of Boynton Beach (Palm Beach County) fire rescue apparatus.
The Freightliner rig was traveling northbound on S. Congress Ave around 1930 Saturday with its emergency lights and sirens activated.

… More traveling in the center lane when the fire apparatus turned left colliding with the bike. The rig and motorcycle collided, ejecting both the 18-year-old male and his 13-year-old passenger.
The 18-year-old (who was not wearing a helmet) was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the passenger (who was wearing a helmet) was transported to Delray Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. The three Firefighters were uninjured and provided immediate care. Less
