Last summer Jägermeister and Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits partnered to do another retail campaign to benefit MIchigan first responders (similar to the New Hampshire 2020 campaign).
For every bottle of Jägermeister sold in Michigan during August 2020 MJUS and SGWS donated $1 each to the U. S. First Responders Association who then split the funds out evenly to 6 Volunteer Fire Departments in Michigan:
- Frederic Township Fire Department (Frederic MI)
- Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department (Dowagiac MI)
- Munising Volunteer Fire Department (Munising MI)
- Richmond Volunteer Fire Department (Richmond MI)
- Sand Lake Fire Department (Tipton MI)
- Yale-Brockway Fire Department (Brockway MI)
Most of the above FDs are small, rural volunteer or combo agencies in various parts of the state so USFRA mailed a check along with some Refresh eye drops and USFRA swag for their personnel in March 2021.
And one VFD was near Detroit metro so Nicholas Richmond of Jägermeister was able to coordinate a meetup with Richmond VFD Chief Spens and 2 of his Assistant Chiefs.
