16-Sep-2017 - Sunday (17-Sep-2017) Premium Motorsports and driver, Gray Gaulding will utilize the hood of the No.55 Toyota Camry to honor and raise awareness to the U.S. First Responders Association at Chicagoland Speedway for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, ‘Tales of the Turtle 400’.
Dr. Kenneth Jazdzewski (Dr. Jaz), a Dentist at Heritage Dental, in Antioch IL, has a love for his practice, his family, NASCAR racing and the U.S. First Responders Association.
Dr. Jaz’s cousin, Ronald Szarzynski, a retired fire chief was an enthusiast NASCAR fan who often went to the races with Dr. Jaz and family.
Unfortunately, Ronald passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.
The doctor and Ronald’s son, Ronny Szarzynski, wanted to honor his memory with a purple pancreatic cancer awareness ribbon on the #55, but they also wanted to do something more to raise awareness for the first responders who do their best to save as many lives as they can every day, as they tried to do for Ronald.
“I’ve been involved in a couple of smaller sponsorships in the past with another team, but this time I wanted it to be bigger. It’s so cool and we’re more involved with this sponsorship than we were in the past when we had my office, ‘Heritage Dental’ on a car in the Xfinity Series last year, so we’re really excited and looking forward to this weekend.
My cousins’ son, Ronny (Szarzynski) had the idea about putting the pancreatic awareness ribbon on the car. I thought it was a great idea so he and I decided to be co-sponsors on the car. We probably won’t leave the track until Monday morning.
