Hi, I'm Abbot.  In 2005 I graduated college with my Basic peace officer's certification and a two year degree in criminal justice. 

My Sheriff put my on as a special deputy and I began working as a bailiff at our courthouse as well as working the road part time. 

In 2009 I left the road at the sheriff's office and started working part time at our local police department. I would stay on as a part-time dispatcher and still ran ems.

In 2010 I left the Sheriff's Office and went full time at the local police department for 10 years. 

Last fall I made the switch and went back to my passion as a full time dispatcher with our Sheriff's Office. I am still also running ems part time.

I have also served on our local Honor Guard for the past 15 years. I am currently serving as our Chaplain for both the Honor Guard and my local ems. I am also serving as secretary/treasure of the Honor Guard.
