| Bio | I am a thirty-two-year retired member of the fire service having spent the last twenty years serving on the Chicago Fire Department. Throughout my career, I have experienced over a thousand working structure fires, several underwater rescue dives, along with numerous other technical rescue incidences. For eleven years, prior to joining the Chicago Fire Department, I served as a cross-trained firefighter paramedic in the surrounding suburbs. Currently, I reside in Siesta Key, Florida with my wife and two teenage boys, where I own and operate an online counseling ministry, Surviving Life Ministries, targeting first responders and their families.
