Well, hello sports fans....just a quick note to let you know I'm still around.... seems that Sunday Aug. 28th, I had a stroke, only thing affected were my limbs, arms and legs, hands and feet.... today, I am home and have regained the use of all limbs, but still need to use a walker .....I was flown to Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. and received the greatest care there...! My hats off to ALL… More the staff there, from house keeping to the Docs...! Great care...! They found that I have a 100% blockage in my leftCarotid artery and 60 % blockage in my right..... so, with meds, they want to keep the right open and hoping the meds will even help clear it..... Less
