| Bio | I am a 40-year member of the Fire Service. I am the Training Chief for the Spring Hill FD in Spring Hill, TN. I started my career in the NC Forestry Service while in college and became a volunteer Firefighter with the Bay Leaf Fire Department in Raleigh, NC. I volunteered and worked for Bay Leaf part-time and full-time from 1984 until 1994 when I accepted a job with the Raleigh Fire Department. I became a HazMat Technician in 1995 and was placed on Raleigh's HazMat Team where I ended my career as a Captain on the HazMat Team in March of 2021I have a 2-year degree in Fire Protection Technology, a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, and a master’s in public administration. I hold a Fire Officer Designation through CPSE. I have the most wonderful wife named Pattie, an awesome son named Adam who is a K-9 Officer with our local Sherrif's Department, and an awesome daughter named Kaneesha who is a Message Therapist (both have taken after their old man and own businesses). |
