Bio | I am a semi-retired officer/prof. I am a trainer for my co. I was an Asst. Professor & Chair for a completion program for Public Safety which included Criminal Justice & Homeland Security; Emergency Mgt. I coord. & taught courses for the VCU Homeland Security & Emergency Prep. & the Criminal Justice programs. I served for 27 years in the field of criminal justice, 21 of which were with the VSP. I began my law enforcement career as a military policeman in the Army & served as a town police officer, tpr, sgt, f/sgt sergeant, & lt. I served as a lt with the VSP where I lead 240 employees. I was the asst. trg. Off. & mgd. the daily oper. of the academy. I was the statewide incident management program mgr. for the VDOT. I earned an AAS in police science, a BLS degree in criminal psychology & sociology, & a MS degree in cj admin. I earned a MBA degree with a spec. in cj, & a PhD in bus. admin. with a spec. in homeland security. |
