Bio | I have been in the Public Safety field for over nine years. I started as a fire cadet at my local fire department and rose to Firefighter, Rescue Technician and Emergency Medical Responder. After 5 years there, I went into civilian role in campus law enforcement at the University of Maryland Police Department. I then became a Disaster Action Team member for the American Red Cross and I am back currently volunteering with the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department as a firefighter/rescue technician. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland College Park and I am currently working on a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management & Homeland Security Management with the University of Maryland Global Campus. As of December 2020, I took over as the Emergency Management Planner, PIO, Head of Security, and Planning Section Chief for the Somerset County Department of Emergency Services in Maryland. |
