Bio | Robert A. Crutchfield first served an event based volunteer with the American Red Cross in May 1983. Later that year he went on to become a Disaster Action Team Member and Disaster Damage Surveyor with the ARC. From there he went on to serve with the Military Police Corps-Texas State Guard, The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, The National Weather Service's Skywarn Program, and as Chaplain of the Katy Texas Fire and EMS Department. Additional roles have included being a Local Board Member with the U.S. Selective Service, and a Advisory Board Member of Defense of Houston a n Army funded civilian preparedness group founded in the month after 9/11. Currently he is back with American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services as both a Disaster Duty Officer for the Texas Gulf Coast Region and Disaster Workforce Engagement Coordinator for the Houston Chapter. |
