BioSarah Fox is an emergency management expert with experience at local, state, and federal agencies. Sarah’s work history includes emergency management positions at the New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (NOHSEP), the South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD), and FEMA Region IV. While at FEMA, Sarah deployed to over 20 major disasters. As an emergency manager, her focus is on interdepartmental collaboration and continuous improvement. Sarah is especially skilled in hazard mitigation, facilitating after action reviews, and corrective action planning. Sarah holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) focused in Disaster Management from the Tulane University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and GIS from the University of South Florida. Sarah is currently an Exercise Specialist in the Internal Emergency Management Branch (IEMB/ SSO/ OSSAM) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
