Albuquerque, New Mexico, Feb. 2021: Officers were forced to shoot a man who they found walking down the middle of a street with a knife. The man refused to comply with multiple orders by the officers. At one point an officer utilized a Taser device from a mere 8-10 feet away in an effort to avoid the use of deadly force. Eventually, however, the knife-wielding man turned and charged that officer causing the policeman to flee. The man then pivoted and charged towards the officer with the BWC. That is when he was shot. The man was transported to the hospital where he died.
