This is a highly skilled position that directs and oversees on-scene Emergency Medical Services (EMS) activit… Moreies. Supervises work of EMS personnel assigned to squad ALS first response team. Monitors inventory, ordering, delivery and storage of EMS supplies. Mentors to new paramedics. Candidates with previous experience and income as an EMS Lieutenant may be placed into the OPFD step plan from Step 1 ($5,055.00/month) up to Step 5 ($6,626.08/month).

❖ Starting Pay:$18.23-$ -$23.89/hr. ($60,660.06-$79,512.96 annually)
❖ Normal Work Schedule: 24-hour shift; schedule to be determined by supervisor.
❖ Full-time Benefits (Healthcare / Retirement / Pension)
❖ No City residency requirement

Requirements:
❖ High school diploma or GED and must be 18 years of age or older.
❖Associate's degree in Emergency Medicine or a related field preferred.
❖ Requires a Kansas Paramedic certification.
❖ Four years of Paramedic experience preferred.
❖Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
❖Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, physical, and psychological evaluation.
