It's been awhile again and I hope everyone is safe and had or going to have their Covid-19 shots, I had both of mine and had no problems as I did as the daughter-in-law told me to do and that was to hydrate with water and I did and I think that may have helped and also I take a Vitamin D3 tab once a day. Enough about me so how have you all been doing ? Happy belated Easter and I am hoping that winter is over, but I know here in WNY we have had snow in May , not a lot but hey another thing I am waiting for is for the Coast Guard to take out the ice boom which stretches' across the lake which holds back the ice from going down stream and wrecking havoc on the Generator plant. If you Google "ICE Boom" you will see what I am talking about. So when that is taken out then I know spring if here for sure.
I am hoping everyone has improved on your driving skills and taken all the safe driving courses as I have been taken a on-line course called "TIMS" which has to do with the setting up of safety vehicles at a accident scene to protect the first responders from getting injured or worse killed. There have been to many State Police vehicles and officers be hit and killed on our highways, so look it up on-line and take the different courses, they are free and very informative I am finding out. Use it as a training night class or just for you to get better at setting up your crews. I am sitting looking out in to my backyard and see that my grass could be cut as it grows fast once spring starts so maybe I will do that tomorrow, lazy today.
Well let me know how you are all doing and if you did any of the googling I have left for you in this blog. I am sure many of you are just saying him again but let me tell you I don't want to hear any of you getting hurt at a scene because you didn't take the time to go and check things out on line. I use to tell my firefighter 1 students that I don't want to hear that they never made out of a fire as long as they were able to as they have a tool on there back that can save them, I may have been harsh on them about that but think about it.
Well I am going leave at that, take care stay safe and drive with care as the bikers are out and about.
